The Crawford Bay Sunday Market runs Sundays from May 3 through October in Crawford Bay, except July 12 (Starbelly weekend). The market brings together local artisans, farmers, food vendors, and musicians, offering a welcoming gathering place for residents and visitors. Beginning at 8am July 1st, the Nelson Lions Club will once again take over the 500 block of Baker St. for our annual Canada Day Pancake Breakfast fundraiser.

Enjoy pancakes, sausages, coffee, juice and more before you head to Lakeside Park for a day of July 1st festivities.

The J.B. Fletcher Museum in Ainsworth will be hosting gatherings for fibre enthusiasts and tea lovers to come and work on their knitting, crochet, embroidery, and spinning projects while connecting with fellow crafters. These gatherings will occur the first Wednesday of every month from 9-12. Drop ins welcome.

Sinixt paddlers will launch in Kaslo on June 27, camping in Garland Bay and Kokanee Creek, and arrive at Lakeside Park in Nelson on July 1st.

10am: Watch the landing of the dugout and sturgeon-nosed canoes as the paddlers arrive on the beach at Lakeside Park at the end of their journey from Kaslo.

10:45am: Join a community circle dance around the big drum

Beat those midweek blues by taking the stage and singing your favourite songs at Finleys Bar & Grill on Wednesday nights!

Collage Drop In. Come on in on the first Thursday of the month for a casual drop in collage space. We have some stellar content to create unique, stunning papercraft works. This is a great economical way to spend an evening with some friends, new and old. (will continue on May 7th, June 4th & July 2nd)
