Finally! Another night for Producers, Beatmakers, and Electronic Music Composers to jam for fun! WHAT IS IT? It’s a night of collaboration games for Producers, Beat-Makers, and Electronic Music Composers, of all genres, DAWs, and skill levels. Join us for a fun music collaboration event tailored for electronic music composers and producers. Bring your Headphones and laptop with your preferred DAW or hardware such as MPC, Maschine, Push3, or others. The event is on April 3rd from 6-9:30 pm at “The Jam Factory”, 303 Vernon St, Nelson, BC V1L 4E3. This is Volume 2 of a series of monthly jams, each featuring a unique collaboration “game” or “style”. ***This month’s theme: SESSION MUSICIANS*** Here’s how it works: Producers are each granted time with one of the participating “session musicians” to record original accompaniment to the music YOU create during the jam. Producers choose when they’d like to use their recording time. You choose whether to record a lick, progression, or melody at the beginning of the jam to flesh out for the rest of the session or have the musician improvise on something you’ve started at the beginning of the jam! At the end of the jam enjoy sharing your production, listening to other’s creations, asking questions and describing challenges you faced along the way! It’s an opportunity to build music production skills, support and be supported by other producers, ask questions, and eat snacks! RECAP:
